A Wholehearted Journey

2015 – A Serendipitous Start

In response to a growing community need for more personalized mental health care, Maggie launches Mindful Matters, a private practice focused on individual and family therapy, with particular attention to grief, loss, and eating disorders.

2018 – Wholehearted Healing

Also drawn to the impact of private practice, Steph establishes Wholehearted Healing, a small Minnesota-based practice offering compassionate mental health therapy services.

2019 – Open Minds, Open Doors

United by a desire to grow thoughtfully and expand access to care, Mindful Matters and Wholehearted Healing merge and open a second location in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

2021 – A Shared Vision

To better serve clients and collaborate with a strong community of clinicians, Wholehearted Healing relocates its St. Louis Park office to Wayzata, Minnesota.

2022 – The Perfect Fit

With continued growth and an increasing need for care, Wholehearted Healing expands again, opening a third location in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota to serve the south metro.

2024 – Taking Root

Growing demand leads to the expansion of the Wayzata location, moving into a larger suite designed to better support both clients and clinicians.

2025 – Guided Growth

Maggie becomes the sole owner of Wholehearted Healing, guiding the practice forward with a focus on intentional growth and expanded services—while preserving the personalized, intimate care at the heart of the practice.

2025 – Looking Ahead

Owning Wholehearted

Dr. Maggie Meyers earned her BA from the University of St. Thomas, her MA from St. Mary’s University, and her Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota and a Board-Approved Supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (BBHT). She is also an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis both for the Graduate Program in Counseling and Psychological Services as well as Marriage and Family Therapy.

Maggie became a co-owner of Wholehearted Healing in 2021 and the sole owner in 2025. Her work is grounded in thoughtful, relational, and evidence-based care, and she is passionate about creating a supportive space where individuals and families can do meaningful, lasting work together. Being a strong and visible leader is of the utmost importance to her, as she believes that a positive and healthy work environment for providers leads to the best possible client care.
